Artistic Floors by Design created a cohesive and beautiful floor in our home. There were previously three different colors of stained wood floors and Joe determined the different species then removed some of the flooring, replacing it with site-finished wood. He sanded everything and made the color flow throughout the flooring. Our project could not have turned out better.

Scheduling around our remodel and move-in was a little tricky but Joe came through and delivered a gorgeous product. Joe really understood what we were trying to accomplish and both the floors and the railings turned out exactly as envisioned. We couldn’t be happier or recommend Artistic Floors by Design enough. We bought a new house that has walnut floors. The only downfall was that they were ruined from a big dog scratching them up. Joe explained the entire process from start to finish of how he could make them beautiful again. He was true to his word, always on time, and extremely professional. My floors are the highlight of my home and everyone gets that “WOW” factor when you enter my front door. Hand scraped and a gorgeous finish!

We were a little disappointed that we could not get on their schedule for 4-6 weeks but it was well worth the wait! We now have floors that in our opinion look better than when first installed. If you are looking for a hardwood contractor, don’t look any further. Joe and Joni are the best. Joe removed a walnut hardwood floor that another installer had installed incorrectly a year earlier and installed a new walnut floor correctly. Joe is respectful of your home and does everything possible to do a quality install. Joni is wonderful at communicating timelines. You know exactly how long your project is going to take and the steps in between. As a designer, I have been involved in multiple hardwood projects throughout the years and this one was by far the smoothest with the best result. Thanks Joe and Joni!!!

Joe made me love my house again! I have Brazilian Cherry floors and was ready to rip them out because I hated the color and width. Joe transformed the floor into something I love now! The color and finish are beyond what I could have asked for. This is the best company I have ever worked with when it comes to home improvement or repairs. Before we hired Joe, I hired a less expensive floor installer to complete a small room. I loved the look so much that I bought more of the wood for the rest of our basement, but I hated the feel of walking on the installed floor. We requested Artistic Floors by Design refinish our existing 4″, 6″, and 8″ wide plank antique distressed Brazilian Cherry floors on our main level and extend them into our master bedroom and hallway as a replacement of existing carpeting. The floor in the master matches the main level perfectly. We couldn’t be more pleased with the timeliness of the service and the quality of the job.
